Carnival 2018

The thrill of the previous evening of sportstournament had barely faded when the new morning with a new spirit arrived. As “Carnival 2018” has been started from today 20th Feb 2018, which will last on 21st February 2018, where the enthusiastic mass was waiting impatiently for the activities of the previous day to resume.The inauguration of the national level mega event – Carnival XVIII was graced by Principal RIET Dr. Saroj Hiranwal and the Dean of Academics Professor Kapil Dev Sharma along with Vice Principal Prof. Sachin Sharma.

The day started amidst cool breeze and warming speech of the chief guest of the event Dr Uday Kumar. R Yaragatti, Director MNIT, Jaipur and Guest of Honor Dr. Avinash Panwar, Director CEG, Who lit the lamp and declared the ceremony has begun. All the HODs of respective departments along with faculty members were a part of this event.

The hours proceeded with the continuation of Technical, Literary, Creative, Cultural and Fun Events.

Word-Enthusiast were drawn towards debating and article writing and similar such literary events in Siyahi Event. A plethora of technical and non-technical events appealed to the students as well, in which whole-hearted participation was observed.

Rangoli making was appreciated by all. The artists of Rangoli Competition made lovely designs on the floor in front of the admin block. It was indeed very colorful.

Cricket is always the most interesting for all. The students played great matches in this event. The crowd cheered while the batsmen and the bowlers along with fielders tried to give their best.

Roadies Treasure Hunt was extremely interesting for all the participants as well as spectators. It was very interesting for all the students.

The Youth Parliament was a massive success. Students and faculty members enjoyed a lot and it looked almost like a real parliament. Bridge mania, technamite and circuit designing were the competitions which were attempted by the young technocrats.

In Sketching the talents of the young artists was seen. Lovely sketches were made by all the participants. Each was good than the other.

Antakshari was too good and very interesting. Singers put up their best talents in this event. The songs appeared like a bouquet of flowers being presented before the judges.

The evening was the most awaited hour as various events were eagerly looked forward to.

The most eye catching event was the Ramp walk in which the winners were “The Show Stoppers” the group from RIET. The runners up were the group from JECRC College. The chief guest on this occasion was Mr. Ashish Bharadwaj, who has been awarded as “Mr. North India” and has many laurel to his credit.

Dance competition and Singing Competition in various categories (single, duet and group) were also held in the evening. The whole event was a massive crowd puller. All the students along with faculty members enjoyed a lot.

Speaking on the occasion Principal RIET Dr. Saroj Hiranwal said that the performances given by the students are superb; this is the result of their untiring efforts.

The day ended with a happy note.
