Management often needs to have technical skills in order to communicate effectively with line workers and coordinate efforts. Technical skills comprise the knowledge and capabilities to perform specialized tasks related to a specific field.
Skill Levels: (We are offering levels 1’2’3)
Level 1 (Basic): Has and uses the required functional and technical knowledge and skills necessary to do his or her job
Level 2 (Intermediate): Has and uses the required functional and technical knowledge and skills to do his or her job at a high level of accomplishment.
Level 3 (Advanced): Demonstrates an active interest in enhancing current skills and learning new ones; applies advanced functional or technical knowledge to do his or her job at a high level of accomplishment.
Level 4 (Expert) : Demonstrates a continuously enhancing current skills and learning new ones; applies advanced functional or technical knowledge to process complex problem solving; demonstrates an exemplary level of accomplishment in job performance.

RIET-TSSC SDC is a training sector meant to produce skilled manpower in Telecom Sector to meet the upcoming demands of this industry for skilled manpower in various related disciplines : ranging from Call Centre Executives to specialized Android App developers for smart mobile phones

Why and How it is constituted ?
This initiative is a part of Prime Minister Skill Development Program, which is set with a goal to provide skilled workforce in various technical industries and hence to convert the human population to human wealth. Under this vision, the market leaders of telecom sector : Airtel, Reliance and Idea join hands together and collaborated with Central government for the establishment of Telecom Sector Skill Council with a mission to provide skilled workforce in carious sectors of Telecom Industry. TSSC is thus, a joint venture of public private partnership which affiliates academic institutions with world class infrastructure, to set up skill development centre. RIET is the first one in Rajasthan to set up a skill centre.

RIET is the training partner with TSSC for more than 30 different courses in various domain. Each course is designed with world class Quality Packs and National Occupational Standards. After successful completion of course, the student has to appear for an online examination, after which the student is awarded a National Level Certificate, which is recognized by Airtel, Reliance, Idea and many others.
