Skills and knowledge are the driving forces of economic growth and social development for any country. The 12th Five Year Plan Document of the Planning Commission has laid a special emphasis on expansion of skill-based programmes in higher education. It recommends setting up of Skill Development center to serve multiple needs, including career oriented education and skills to students interested in directly entering the workforce and general interest courses to the community for personal development and interest.
Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) is a Non-Profit Organization, registered under the Societies Registration Act,1860. TSSC is an apex body that provide interface with telecom industry at national level. TSSC is developing necessary framework for standards curriculum and quality assurance at all level in Technical program. Presently TSSC has 144 industry partners, 453 training partners and 600 academic partners.
AICTE has been striving to continuously improve the standards of technical education so that competent technical human resource is made available to strengthen the nation. In line with overall objective AICTE has signed MOU with TSSC .
As an initiative taken by TSSC to promote the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana a Scheme of central Government, Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology, Jaipur is proud to inform that we are selected as channel partner by TSSC and AICTE to run the programme at our campus.
