Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology Jaipur organized “Techkriti” on 27th and -28th January 2018. RIET was the zonal center of the event which took place in collaboration with the IIT Kanpur.
The event was inaugurated by Principal RIET Dr. Saroj Hiranwal. During the inaugural ceremony of the event, she expressed her thoughts on the occasion and said that events like this would provide the platform for the exchange of ideas, invention, learning etc among students as well as it will provide a unique opportunity in broadening of horizons.
Dean Academics & Admin, RIET, Prof Kapil Dev Sharma, said that that this will endow a unique opportunity not only for the budding engineers but also for the tomorrow’s technocrats…. that is the young talents from various colleges who had come to attend the event from all parts of Jaipur.
Prof. Sachin Sharma, Vice Principal, RIET, encouraged all the students and said that this event was organized with a motto of promoting Technology and innovation amongst computer wizards.
About 200+ participants congregated in the campus from various colleges and educational institutions across Jaipur. In the IARL there were 9 teams in the Multi robotics team. Ethical hacking and wireless robotics were the two workshops which took place on 27th January.
The coordinators from IIT Kanpur who had come for the workshop were Mr Yazur Gupta, Mr Dhirendra, Mr Bhanu Mahato, Mr Prashant Jaipurkar. The main trainer on the occasion was Mr Dheeraj from Techinest, which is a national level organization in this field.
The students of RIET and all the participants were highly benefited by this workshop. Principal RIET Dr. Saroj Hiranwal highly appreciated the trainers and encouraged the participants. She also said that we look forward to many such occasions as these events are extremely beneficial for all.
